Respected business and community leader Paula Harris has joined Nashville-based management consulting firm Thrivence as a principal. Thrivence, which launched in July as a wholly owned subsidiary of Barge, counsels clients in leadership development, strategy and performance, and technology solutions. Thrivence has since been recognized as a Top 10 management consulting firm. Paula is the latest in a series of high-profile additions to the company's roster, following Wanda Lyle, David Scobey, and Ann Hatcher.

“We are thrilled to have Paula join the Thrivence team. Her wisdom and experience will be a valuable resource for business and organizational leaders in Middle Tennessee and beyond," said John Lowry, President of Thrivence.

Paula previously served as executive vice president and chief relationship officer for Barge, where she guided client experience efforts for the firm across five states, including five offices in Tennessee. Prior to that, she served as our chief marketing officer.

“Paula has been pivotal to the success of Barge for more than 20 years,” said Bob Higgins, CEO of Barge Design Solutions. “She’s been integral to shaping how we serve clients and ultimately contribute to their success. Now Thrivence clients will benefit from her counsel and wisdom as a leader. With Paula on board, we are certain there are great things ahead for Thrivence.”

A graduate of Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering, Paula continues to be involved in the Nashville area community. She serves on the Nashville State Community College Foundation Board of Trustees and on The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring in Murfreesboro Board of Trustees as president. Paula is also a graduate of several area leadership programs, including Leadership Rutherford, Leadership Middle Tennessee, and Leadership Franklin, where she has served as executive director since 2012.
