Barge Founder Bill Cannon Has Passed at Age 93

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of our last living founder, William “Bill” Harold Cannon. Bill Cannon passed away on Saturday, July 15, just a day after celebrating his 93rd birthday. Mr. Cannon was instrumental in establishing the reputation Barge has for building strong relationships; his competitive nature set a tone of tenacity that still echoes in our halls; and his passion for service laid the cultural groundwork which is still an integral part of our company today.
