Rachel Carvell Promoted to Manager of Talent Management

Barge’s Rachel Carvell, SPHR, has been promoted to Manager of Talent Management.

Carvell has 16 years of human resources experience including training, professional development, staffing, succession planning, benefits, and compensation. During her five years at Barge, she has led efforts to certify Barge as a Great Place To Work ®, convert our Performance Navigator process from paper to electronic, document succession plans for our key leadership positions, and implement our Management Development Series and Barge Leadership Institute programs. She will continue to manage these processes in this new role with the added responsibility of talent acquisition.

Carvell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management, both from the University of Tennessee. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources.
