Barge Design Solutions is comprised of people who recognize the value of giving in our firm, in our communities and across our region. We care deeply about making a positive impact, not only on an individual level, but as a company. Employees are passionate about making their communities and its citizens' lives better. Evidence can be found in the company's involvement with the establishment of its endowed scholarships at the schools of engineering for Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee. Barge Design Solutions partners with these respective institutions to grow the endowments with employee match contributions.

You often find employees involved in civic organizations and other community-wide events, but more importantly, it is not unusual that we spend our time and talents toward something much bigger. To further nurture this culture of generosity and support of our communities, we established the Barge Design Solutions, Inc. Community Fund in 2014.

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. Community Fund

The Barge Design Solutions, Inc., Community Fund provides an opportunity for our employees to come together and give back to the communities where they live and work. 

Grants are given twice each year to organizations based on recommendations from employees. These grants are funded by employee contributions, either through direct contributions or payroll deductions, and matching contributions from Barge Design Solutions.
