The Challenge
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) needed to renovate the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and Breast Center, an outpatient cancer clinic, to improve functional efficiencies, incorporate telemedicine, and provide additional patient services.
The Solution
Barge Design Solutions provided architectural and interior design services for the 17,200-SF renovation project. The design focused on maximizing efficiency, incorporating telemedicine, and providing onsite pharmacy and education services.
The Result
The renovated outpatient cancer clinic provides a more efficient and patient-centered experience, featuring telemedicine, an onsite pharmacy, and an education library. The project was designed to accommodate future growth and changes in healthcare delivery.
