    At Barge Design Solutions, we are dedicated to excellence in architecture and engineering, and we are seeking a dynamic Sr. Project Manager – Industrial & Chemical Process Engineering to lead our industrial and chemical engineering projects. This role is crucial in providing project management services for large, complex design projects while upholding Barge's PM procedures, business goals, and objectives.     Duties & Responsibilities


    As a Sr. Project Manager – Industrial & Chemical Process Engineering with Barge Design Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in leading and contributing to major projects in your specialized discipline or market practice area. Your responsibilities include: 
    Manage projects with a significant impact on financial, business, and strategic goals, fostering a collaborative work environment and supporting positive workplace culture. 

    • Collaborate with Leadership, CSLs, and Technical Managers to develop and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts, ensuring compliance with Barge terms. 
    • Prepare and establish complicated Project Management Plans involving multiple Business Units and/or offices. 
    • Perform activities associated with Project Manager responsibilities. 
    • Have office leadership responsibilities to ensure effective communication and resolution of local office needs
    • Play an active role in advising and executing strategic and business planning activities. 
    • Attend various leadership meetings. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

     Education & Experience Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or chemical engineering from an accredited program. 
    • 5 plus years of engineering experience in industrial and chemical engineering projects. 
    • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is a PLUS but not required

    • Strong project management and technical credibility.  
    • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships within and outside Barge.
    • Effective leadership of collaborative multi-discipline teams with the capability to handle concurrent projects and deadlines. 
    • Sound business decision-making guided by Business Unit strategy. 

    Expectations 

    • Provide effective leadership and application of processes and procedures that drive financial metrics and quality expectations for mid-sized and less conventional projects. 
    • Manage an average of $2M in revenue. 
    • Have individual sales goals for specific clients, developing and implementing a plan to meet these sales goals.
