Cendy Dodd Takes Home a Nashville Business Journal 2019 CFO Award

Nashville, TN - Barge Design Solutions, Inc. Chief Financial Officer Cendy Dodd has been named the 2019 Medium Private Company winner of Nashville Business Journal’s CFO Awards. This award honors the hard work and achievements of Nashville businesses’ finest financial executives.

Nashville Business Journal selected 21 finalists for eight categories of this award. The winners were announced at the 2019 CFO Awards dinner on October 3, presented by Vaco and held at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Dodd is an alumna of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In addition, she holds a Certificate of Management from Belmont University. She joined the Barge team as CFO and Executive Vice President in 2013.

In both her personal and professional life, Dodd embodies the Barge culture of collaboration, authenticity, respect, excellence, and service. Outside of the office, Dodd is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (Inactive) and Financial Executives International. Moreover, she is committed to serving both locally and internationally. Dodd is Treasurer and Chairman of Leadership Team of First Baptist Church Franklin, KY and was founding director and member of the Executive Committee for Camp Habitat of Simpson County, Kentucky. In addition, she is a past board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Franklin-Simpson and Simpson County Literacy Council and regularly travels internationally on mission service trips.
