Barge Design Solutions Names New Vice Presidents

Nashville, Tenn. - The Barge Design Solutions Inc., 2019 Annual Meeting saw four employees promoted to the Vice President level. Receiving these promotions at the employee-owned firm are Mindy Moore, Adrian Ward, Ben Nemec, and Steve Bushong.
Moore is a Client Service Leader and has been with Barge since December 2015 and has 21 years of professional experience in engineering and construction management. Moore, graduate of University of Tennessee-Knoxville, is a certified Construction Document Technologist and Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee and Florida.
Ward, CFM, CPESC, previously Manager of Environmental and Water Resources in Barge’s Downtown Nashville office, has been with the firm for nearly 13 years of his 17-year career. During this time Ward has shown a commitment to environmental conservation, dedicated client service, and attention to detail. Ward is a graduate of University of Tennessee-Knoxville and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee and five other states.
Of his 25 years of experience in civil engineering, Nemec has spent nearly 21 years at Barge’s Chattanooga office. His portfolio includes many parks and recreation venues, and a significant history of work in Chattanooga. Nemec is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina.
Houston-local Bushong, also Client Service Leader, is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and has over 35 years of experience in the management, growth, and leadership development of firms in the engineering and architecture industry. Bushong has successfully led teams through many complex and challenging projects. He will continue to support the region from Barge’s Houston office. Bushong has participated in many Houston-area civic organizations, such as Citizens Environmental Coalition, the Houston-Galveston Area Council, and the Texas State Leadership Conference.
